In Radio News

This Have been put in the Heacham News Letter and the Hunstanton News Letter

Lots of planning is going on this month for charity events and also events to help us raise money to keep the station going. The main event 2 events we are planning at the moment is the Heacham Carnival float and well as Children In Need for later on in the year.

Are work for the Float this year is underway and starting to come together. This year though we will not just be sitting in the back of the truck. We will also be giving out some nice treats to say thank you to everyone we pass for supporting us with our journey so far. As well as walking about with are cameras for pictures on the website. so if you see us give us a wave and a smile.

For Children In Need last year I did a 24-hour show. where I did not sleep for 24 hours I was on the radio non-stop. This year I will be up for 24 hours but I'm not just going to be stuck on the radio. I'm going to be out and about selling small things to raise money as well as maybe give you a chance to win a prize. this all depends on what sponsors we get for this. This is where you come in. if you run a small business / Group and would like to team up with Radio Heacham for children in need this year please let us know via our website or Facebook page. We really need your help to get this event going and if this goes well hopefully we can do event like this in the future so please get in contact and help us raise money for Children In Need
