HEACHAM CARNIVAL PARADE – SUNDAY 6 TH AUGUST
STARTS AT 1.15PM from College Drive, Heacham and arrives at Sports Field
at around 2pm.

THEME – This year the theme for the Parish Float is Pocahontas in memory of
her death 400 years ago. The Parade will be led by:
Pocahontas (Abigael Fisher-Downes) and John Rolfe (Lucy Whitmore)
with seven ‘native American’ attendants: Kayla Daniels, William English,
James Morley, Olivia Murtagh, Kathryn Pelling, Ellie Joan Proctor and
Amelie Witley
The Parade will be accompanied by the City of Norwich Brass Band with a
street collection in aid of West Norfolk Mind.

SPONSORSHIP: St Mary’s Church, Heacham is joining with the Parish
Council in sponsoring prizes for the best in category floats – ‘Best Family’,
‘Best Group’, ‘Best Junior Entry’, ‘Best Adult Entry’ and ‘Best Overall’.
Additionally Norfolk Lavender will be providing goody bags for Pocahontas,
John Rolfe and the seven attendants.

Radio Heacham is sponsored by Ridouts Bakery LTD who will be providing little cakes for us to give out during the parade

We will also be about taking photos so don’t forget to give us a smile and a wave as you see us go past.
